SAFE ZONE RULES

​

• The helicopter taxi will be treated as a moving safe zone. Do not attack it or anyone entering/exiting it.

• Do not enter another player's vehicles in a safe zone UNLESS given permission by the owner of the vehicle.

• Do not steal anything from a player in a safe zone in any form. This includes pop tabs, vehicles or items

• Do not ram or run over other players (or their vehicles) with vehicles or objects in the safe zone

• Do not kill players within 500 meters of the safe zone

• Do not attempt to lure players out of the safe zone (or follow them out) to kill them

• Do not place IEDs or mines anywhere within 1.5 km of a safe zone.

• Do not camp within 1 km of a safe zone.

  • ‘Camping' is defined as 'being within 1 km of a safe zone and repeatedly killing players that leave/enter

  • For full(er) clarification: 'repeatedly' is defined as 'more than once'

TERRITORY RULES

​

• Territories must be located 750 m away from a safe zone and Bambi spawn locations.

• Territory that camp bridges will be removed.

• Territory constructions must adhere to a conventional sense of gravity. No floating bases.

• Territory must not obstruct roads or prevent travel.

• No territories are to be built in any military class building.

• Flag poles must not be inside of a player placed wall(s), floor(s), the ground or a preexisting game objects (buildings, trees etc;).

• Flags are permitted to be inside your base BUT must be able to be taken by a player IF they are able to destroy a door(s) or wall(s).

• Territory names may not contain any racist slurs or be offensive in nature.

• Objects must not intersect or overlap to prevent access to any room or your flag           

• Ask an admin to check out your territory if you have any concerns about its rule compliance

SOCIAL RULES

​

• Do not use racial slurs or act racist towards other players in side/group/direct chat using voice or text

• Do not purposely make personal jabs at someone for something that is a touchy subject. It is rude, uncalled for and will not be tolerated

• Do not demean or otherwise belittle players because of their gender, gender identity or sexual identity

• Do not insult a player’s language, heritage, nation or community

• Do not spam side chat or attempt to start an argument in side chat

• Do not kill another player in your group or abuse the grouping system to kill other players

• Do not meta game to kill players in-game. This includes lurking in a Discord channel or streaming site to find out where a player is and kill and/or loot them or their base

• Do not make accusations that a player is a hacker, cheater or anything of the sort in side chat, direct messaging or party chat. Contact an admin and let us handle it

• Impersonating an admin will result in a ban

RAIDING RULES

• Ask an admin for clarification of any of the rules below

• This is a PVP server. The spirit of PVP will preserved in all rule enforcements and decisions

• Admin rulings on all things are final and are not open to debate

• We expect players to take the necessary precautions to keep their bases safe. Including pre-emptive strike against players or families

• Do not exploit glitches to enter a base. Doing so will result in a ban

• Compensation will not be given for any objects lost as a result of a player raid

PVP RULES

• Ask an admin for clarification of any of the rules below

• This is a PVP server. The spirit of PVP will preserved in all rule enforcements or decisions

• Admin rulings on all things are final and are not open to debate

• Killing on sight is permitted but let's face it, that's not how you make friends

• Relieving a player of their items or vehicle(s) outside of safe zones is permitted

• Compensation will not be given for any objects lost as a result of a player raid

• PVP must not conflict with the above safe zone rules in any way.

• PVP violating any established rules will result in disciplinary action.

INTERACTION WITH STAFF

​

• By far the most important set of rules to avoid getting a ban. All rules that apply to player interaction also apply to dealing with staff

• Respect that the staff often have many people asking for many things at once. Be patient and wait for your problem to be resolved

• Do not insult a staff member for any reason if you are unhappy with the outcome of something that the staff has addressed. Use the forum if you want to contest the issue

• Staff members have different roles and must follow the rules and guidelines of those roles when dealing with issues. They may escalate your problem to another staff member

• Do not spam side chat or any form of messaging when petitioning staff member for help

• Do not interrupt or prevent a staff member from helping other players

• When staff are not online, use the support ticket system on the forums or Discord support chat for help

• If you suspect admin abuse, submit a support ticket on the forums so that we can investigate

BAN APPEALS

​

• Any behavior deemed to be destructive, offensive, or abusive to the server or players as determined by Admin discretion will be subject disciplinary action.

• We will look into all cases and handle them appropriately

• If you wish to appeal a ban or have any questions regarding disciplinary action please visit the support forum page or log on to our Discord server and contact an admin

• Rule creation is subject to administrative discretion, as is implementation and is final.

PLAYER COMPENSATION

​

• Compensation requests must be submitted to {TRC} Fifth on the forums

• Compensation requests require documentation of some kind (photo or video) to support your request and must correlate with our records. Help us to help you.

• Compensation will not be given for any helicopter landed on a base or base part of any kind, made of any material, for any reason

• Compensation will not be given for any base that is auto-deleted due to a failure to pay protection money

• Compensation will not be given for any vehicle that was unlocked due to being left in a safe zone.

• Compensation will not be given for any vehicle that despawns as a result of having been unused for three consecutive days

• Compensation will not be given for any objects lost as a result of a player raid

• Compensation will not be given for any objects lost resulting from PVP outside of a safe zone if that PVP is valid within the parameters defined by all other rules

• Compensation WILL be given if a player can unquestionably prove a loss resulted from player glitching.

ADDITIONAL TIPS

​

• Concrete mixers are not safe zones. Keep your head on a swivel.

• The area outside of the colored portion of the map is a radiation zone. It will kill you

• Territory protection is due every 7 days. Use the XM8 app (available on Android and iPhone) for reminders. Server code for app is CQQ8

• Moving a territory flag is impossible for players. Movement by admins will cause base despawn. Think carefully before placing it.

• Vehicles will unlock if left in trader zones through a restart
